Civil War Round Table of Cobb County, Inc.

The Civil War Round Table of Cobb County (CWRTCC), Georgia serves as a membership organization available to the public. The CWRTCC encourages the study, analysis, and appreciation of the events, personalities, records, and publications associated with the American Civil War.

We strive to provide anyone with an interest in this nineteen-century conflict the opportunity to meet regularly to study, learn, and discuss the seminal event, which shaped our nation. The round table strives to honor the men and women, both North and South, and the sacrifices they made.

The round table meets monthly, typically the first Thursday of each month, except for the months of July and August.  Please visit our website for exact dates and times. Our partnership with The Civil War Center at Kennesaw State University allows us to meet each month at the Kennesaw State University Center located at 3333 Busbee Dr. Kennesaw, situated at the base of Kennesaw Mountain, site of one of the great battles of the American Civil War and the Atlanta Campaign.

Each meeting features a speaker lecturing on various aspects of the Civil War. Topics range from military strategy to battle tactics, medicine to civilians on the home front, and political figures
from the period. Speakers range from published authors to college professors, to just everyday enthusiasts, each with a passion for telling the myriad stories of the American Civil War. If you have a love of American History, and specifically the American Civil War era, please plan to join us at an upcoming meeting!

Non-members may attend their first meeting FREE as our guest. Annual membership is $35.00 ($50.00 per couple) per year. This covers 10 excellent presentations.
